IMPOSSIBLE PRINTING

NEW HORIZONTS

3D PRINTING THE HORIZONTAL STRUCTURES AT-PLACE

Printing roof and floor slabs is technically difficult so far because this means printing horizontal structures. When you print with plastic this issue is solved by adding supports, which are later removed. However, in the case of concrete printing, this is not possible as removing concrete supports is not an easy task.

And if we print a floor slab and roof separately, then their subsequent assembly is inevitable. But Apis Cor does not like this approach, as this is contrary to our main idea — printing must be done directly on-site without any extra assembly works; full automation, no cranes, slingers and other personnel  (for safety reasons).

Have a look at Apis Cor’s concept on printing horizontal structures without supports and on-site - it is achieved by material characteristics, material setting time and printing angle:

APPLICATION

Just imagine of 3D printing the whole structure (including floor and roof) on-site and at once.

TINY HOMES

BUILT ON-SITE WITHOUT ASSEMBLING WORKS AND WITH MINIMUM CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS

Apis Cor's technology of 3D printing the horizontal structures opens a new philosophy of fast and simple housing.
